“ About your parents’ will. “
“ My parents’ will? They have a will? “
“ Yes! A will stated that all your parents’ money and possessions are passed down to you! “
“ Really? “ I was in shocked.
“ Yeap. Your uncle and aunt’s been hiding that will from ya just because they actually wants it. “
“ Oh my God, I can’t believe this. How could they.. “
“ That’s what I’ve been trying to tell you, baby. “
“ Oh yu! This is awful. “ I hugged him ever so tight.
“ I know. Now, come on. We have to do something! “ Yu pulled me out from my room and went straight to uncle Ed’s little office.
“ Yu, what on Earth are we doing here? “
“ We’re gonna find that will! “
“ What? “
“ Just look out for them while I search that will. “ Yu searched all over uncle Ed’s office drawers for the will.
“ Oh Yu, are you done? “
“ Wait, I think I found it! “ Yu had a beige colored envelop on his hand.
“ Yu, I just heard someone at the front door. “
“ Oh shiesse! “ Yu took out his cellphone and dialed 911. “ Hello 911, we have an emergency. Please come here right instance! Come here, Farah. Stay behind me and hold this. “ Yu gave me the envelop. “ Let’s go.” Both Yu and I slowly sneaked out from the office.
As we were heading to the front door, we were surprised by uncle Ed who was drunken heavily at the living room.
“ You! What are you doing here, boy? With her? “ Uncle Ed said when his eyes saw Yu together with me behind him.
“ I can do whatever I like with her! Wanna stop me? Go ahead! Give your best shot! “ Yu bravely said as he doesn’t have the feeling of being afraid.
“ Yu! “ Clearly, I was the scaredy-cat here.
“ Farah, let’s go! “ Yu pulled my hand to walk out from the house or so called jail.
“ You’re not going anywhere with her! “ Uncle Ed pulled my feet and I fell to the ground.
“ Yu! “ I screamed out for my love.
“ And what’s that in your hand, huh girl? Oh, so your boyfriend here told you about the will? Bad boy, he shouldn’t do that! “
“ Let me go, uncle Ed! “ I kicked him just to released myself from his hand. Without wasting any time, I ran immediately.
“ You little brat! “ Uncle Ed took out a knife from his pocket and chased after me.
I couldn’t run as fast as the lightning, and as uncle Ed was about to stab me, I closed my eyes, hoping that the knife doesn’t cut a hole through my skin.
“ Noooooooooooooooooooo! “ Yu screamed and stood in front of me.
When I opened my eyes, it was shocking to find Yu was lying on the ground with a bloody cut on his stomach. He was bleeding to death. “ Uncle Ed has stabbed him! It should have been me! “
Uncle Ed let out an evil laugh. “ There’s no place to run nor for you to hide, little girl! “ He said with his evil tone this time around and was trying to shove the knife to me.
I just closed my eyes again and suddenly I heard a gunshot. It was the police! They shot uncle Ed right on his chest and he’s dead!
“ Are you alright? “ A particular policeman came towards me.
“ Yes, I’m alright. Oh God, Yu! “ I just remembered about Yu and went straight back to him.
“ Yu..” I bent down to Yu who was still lying on the ground and was looking ever so pale. “ You’re bleeding. It’s all my fault. “ I drown myself in tears.
“ Nein..”
“ We need help, here! “ I shouted for help.
“ No need, Farah. “
“ Yes, you need help, Yu. Help! Quick! “ I ordered the paramadics to come as soon as possible.
“ Farah, my love..” Yu gently stroked my hair and face. His hand felt so cold. “ I hope you’ll be happy from now on, your nightmare is finally over... “ Yu said softly along with a bleed cough.
“ Stay with me, Yu. “
“ If only I could... ”
“ Don’t say that. “
“ I love you, Farah. I love you. “
“ I love you, too. “ I hugged Yu tenderly and that’s when I started to feel his heartbeat was no longer there, anymore. “ Yu, Yu..” I gave a gentle shake on his shoulder to make him awake.
The paramadics just came for help but it was too late. Yu has gone! My love is gone! Gone forever!
Like I said before, Yu was everything to me. He was my savior. He did all he could just to make me happy and regain my old lifestyle which I do, right now . All thanks to him. Uncle Ed died at the scene and aunt Nina was sentenced in jail.
Yu let me know the truth that lies behind me. He saved me from the cruel and dark side of my world. He gave me back my happiness and so as putting back the light in my dark life.
“ You know what, Yu? I can’t thankful enough for all the things that you’ve done. You have truly put a big smile on my face again, baby. But I gotta admit, I’ll be the happiest girl ever if you’re still here with me. “ I confess my thoughts on his beautiful grave.
Suddenly the wind blows and it feels so cold yet I feel like somebody is locking his arms around me.
“ I’m still here with you, Farah. I’ll never leave you. “ A ghost of Yu appears to accompany me.
And I am not scared nor as I be startled because I know it is no one else but Yu, an angel from heaven who watches over me all the time.
“ Yu, my love, you’ve always been and forever will be my guardian angel.. ”

Chapter 2
" Look, I've been meaning to talk to you, Farah. Please come back to me. I've missed you. " Taylor begged for my love.
" How many times should I say this to you, Taylor? Who was the one who left me at the first place, huh? Why can't you understand? I will never go back to you, JERK! Got that? " I kept on walking and trying to ignore his disturbing presence.
" Don't you dare turn your back on me! " Taylor pulled me and won't let me go.
" Taylor, let me go! " I was trying to release myself from his arm.
" I won't! Not until you said, you want me back! " Taylor said.
" You're crazy! "
" Well, that's because I'm crazy in love with you, babe! " He put his lips on mine just to get a kiss from me.
" Taylor, stop it! "
" Why, babe? Don't you miss your old dearie boyfriend's kisses? "
" No! " I bit his fingers.
" You bitch! " Taylor let me go by giving me a hard push on the ground. I got a few cuts and bruises due to that.
" You know, it's good enough that I want you back, poor unfortunate girl but sigh! you turned me down. So, it's your lost! Think back, why would I want a lousy poor homeless bitch like you? It's just a waste of time! " he snapped on my face and walked away.
" I FUCKING HATE YOU! " I shouted as loud as I could without noticing that I was actually close to my home already.
My body became weak all of the sudden and I passed out at the spot.
" Farah, Farah, Farah...." I heard a soft manly voice calling my name.
I slowly opened my eyes and the first person I saw was Yu. I've just realized that I was lying on Yu's couch at that moment.
" What happened? " I asked Yu who was staring close at me with his dazzling emerald green eyes.
" You passed out at the sidewalk just now, Farah. Luckily I heard you scream.." Yu explained.
" Oh God! Did I scream out loud? I bet the whole neighborhood heard me. "
" You should! " Yu stood up and looked kinda angry. " Be honest, did you walk all by yourself from your night class? " Yu was concerned as always.
" Yes, I had to. Aunt Nina dropped me off halfway. We had a fight just now. "
" And Taylor bothers you again? "
" Who else? "
" He left you with cuts and bruises this time, huh? "
" Kinda.."
" Farah, why wouldn't you call me to pick you up at the first place? I told you, didn't I? If you need help, just call me! "
" I know, Yu, But you've helped me like a lot of times already ever since we've met. And I don't want to put you on a burden just for the sake of me. "
" Farah..." Yu was trying to raise his voice but failed. " Sigh, Farah. I don't mind carrying a burden if it's for the sake of you. Don't you know that I care for you? " He sat on the couch to face me.
I could see his eyes were gazing through my brown eyes. We stared at each other for a very long time, eye to eye.
Suddenly, my heart beats faster than ever as Yu leaned close to me and gave me a gentle kiss on my lips. I could even feel his heartbeat was beating non-stop just like mine.
He then, stopped and held my hand while saying “ I love you, Farah. More than ever! And I will never let you get hurt again! “
Tears started falling down my cheeks as Yu confessed his love to me. The last time I heard those 3 precious words being said directly to me was from my parents right before they’ve met that car accident which grabbed thier lives forever.
Yu wiped my tears off with his finger and I managed to say “ I love you. “ in return. He smiled and the next thing you know, we were kissing passionately on that very night.
We became from best friends to lovebirds. Everything went well whenever I was with Yu. He guarded me all the time and I felt so protective under his arms.
Yu took a very good care of me and love me with all his heart. I never felt so happy in my entire life when I was with him.
But not long after that, my so called evil uncle and aunt found out about our relationship. They were quite okay with it at first until one day, they asked me not to see Yu again. I didn’t have a clue why they started to keep me away from Yu as much as possible.
My cellphone was taken away by them and they even grounded me. I was devistating by what they’ve done to me.
I knew they wouldn’t want to see me having a wonderful life but I just couldn’t understand why.
However, I was able to meet Yu behind their backs on this one particular day.
“ Yu, how I’ve missed you so much! “ I gave him a hug.
“ I know, baby. I miss you too. “ Yu hugged me tightly
“ Look Farah, I need to tell you something. “ Yu was eager to tell me something.
“ What is it, baby? “
“ It’s about....”
“ FARAH! “ An angry tone of a woman was shouting my name. It was aunt Nina. She went towards us and pulled me from Yu. “ I thought I told you not to see him! Get inside! “
“ But why, aunt Nina? Why? “
Aunt Nina slapped me on the face and said, “ Just shut up and get inside! “
“ Hey, don’t you dare slap her like that! “ Yu went furious as he saw me started to cry due to the hard slap.
“ You, stay out of this, boy! And don’t you ever go near her! Or I’ll call the police. “ Aunt Nina walked away and dragged me into the house. She then, gave me another slap as soon as we entered the house.
“ If I see you with that German boy again, you’ll see what you’re gonna get from uncle Ed! “
I rushed straight to my room with tears still running down my cheeks and I wondered , “ What did Yu and I do wrong? Why wouldn’t uncle Ed and aunt Nina let us be together? And what was Yu going to tell me? “ These questions been playing around in my mind.
A week has passed and I kept refraining myself from bumping onto my one and only love, Yu just to satisfy my uncle and aunt’s desire. Although, one night, when uncle Ed and aunt Nina were not at home , Yu managed to sneak into the house just to see me.
“ Farah! “ Yu came to my bedroom door in a rush.
“ Oh my God, Yu! What are you doing here? You’re gonna get yourself in trouble! “ I warned him.
“ I don’t care! You need to get outta your uncle and aunt’s sights! Come on, let’s go! “ Yu forced me to move out from my bedroom.
“ No, Yu. I can’t go with you. We should stay away from each other. “ I refused to follow him.
“ Why? Your uncle and aunt threaten to kill ya, baby? Pftt.. “
I just remained silent upon Yu’s sarcasm.
“ Oh God! They threaten to kill you? Like seriously? You should report this to the police, Farah! “
“ I can’t do that it either, they’re my uncle and aunt! The police wouldn’t believe it for sure! “
“ Your uncle and aunt are crazy maniacs! You know the reason why they wouldn’t let me see ya? It all because I overheard them talking the other day. “ Yu revealed the truth that I was longing to know.

Chapter 1
It is a cloudy Friday evening and the Sun seems to be hiding behind the clouds.
Wearing all black while sitting on this ground next to a nicely carved tombstone won't stop me from thinking about this guy I once knew.
He was everything to me...
Well, I used to live with uncle Ed and aunt Nina back then, right after my lovely parents had an accident and gone forever.
I couldn't be that spoil brat, Farah anymore without mum and dad around.
Yes, I have to admit, I was a spoiled brat. Talk about the only child in the family.
However, my dark life began when I had to stay with uncle Ed and aunt Nina who can be ever so evil at times, since I was left nothing by my parents.
It was strange, how come my parents left nothing but a 'big zero' for me? Don't they love me all this while? Or were they gotten bankrupt right after the unexpected accident?
All they left for me was a custody for uncle Ed and aunt Nina to take care of me.
It was depressing but I had to accept and respect my late parents' decision. Maybe it was for my own good.
Why did I call it as my dark life at that moment? I'll tell you why.
Imagine if you're being bullied everywhere you go whether in school or even at home.
I wasn't a nerd, that is for sure. It was just that people looked down on me ever since I wasn't that rich high-class girl, no more.
And would you believe me if I tell you, all my friends kept themselves away from me and even my boyfriend dumped me just because I was labelled as a normal and typical girl like everyone else.
Clearly, they were close to me for only the fact that I was rich and been living in a luxurious lifestyle. I've lost everything but myself.
At home, I was treated like I was some sort of a servant to uncle Ed and aunt Nina. To add things worst, uncle Ed was an alcoholic. He tends to hit me for no reason whenever he was drunk.
Uncle Ed and aunt Nina's house was located near the beach, so everytime they went out and left me alone, I usually went out to the beach at night just to calm myself down and wondering when will all these crap that I had to face will be put to its end.
The beach was my only best friend. It was always empty, so I was always alone there.
But there was a day when I was surprised by a presence of an ever so fair looking guy. He was so fair, as fair as the snow. On top of that, his hair was jet-black making him look even more fair and pale too, just like a ghost, if you ask me.
It was hilarious how we've met. I remember the first word he said to me which was " Hey.." and I screamed my lungs out because I thought I was seeing a vision of a ghost.
He immediately took his hand out from his pocket to cover my mouth.
" Shush! The neighbors might hear you! "
I stopped myself from screaming once I have noticed that he was actually a human being, a guy, a really HOT guy.
He took his soft palm of hand gently away from my mouth and said, " Sorry, didn't mean to scare ya, doll. " And he gave me his 'Oh so gorgeous!' side smile.
" That's okay. " That was all I could say while I was pretending to ignore the fact that I was actually talking to a very HOT guy.
" Cool. " He smiled again.
His contagious smile melted my heart. Although, thank God I was not an easily blushed girl when talking to a stunning handsome guy. So, I asked him.
" Are you new here? Cause I've never seen you before. "
" Yeap! Mind if I join ya? " He sat beside me without waiting for my 'yes' or 'no' answer. "Dankeschön! "
" So, you're German? I thought you're Japanese or something. "
" Yeap! And no, you thought I am a ghost just then. "
" Haha right. " I laughed to his joke and his grammatical English error which makes him über cute!
" Opps, did I say it wrong? Sorry, I'm no good in English. " He said with his ever so kiddish tone.
" No worries, dear. As long as I can understand you, you'll be fine. "
" Awesome! My name is Yu! " He grinned and offered a handshake.
" You? As in Y-O-U? " I was a bit confused.
" Nein, nein. Yu. Y-U. Y is for Yummy and U is for Unique. So, Y-U. Yu! " Yu said with a big smile on his flawless face.
" Right. I get you, now. I like your name, Yu. "
" It's actually Hannes De Buhr. But people call me Yu, often. What's your name anyway? " Said the curious Yu.
" Well, nice to meet you, Yu. You can just call me, Farah. " I said happily.
" Farah, sounds nice! " Yu grinned again. " So, what are you doing here? "
" You know, you seems to be very friendly. "
" Well, that's just me. Plus, I've been in a very long flight from Germany and just arrived a couple of minutes ago, so better not waste the time and meet my new neighbor while she's still around. “
" Aww..that's so nice of you. "
Yu just grinned and said, " So, what are you doing here in the middle of night? You haven't answered that question of mine. "
" Since you're so nice, Yu. I'm gonna tell you why. In fact, I'll you everything from A-Z, okay? " I smiled sweetly at him.
" Okay. I can stay here all night to hear a story from a lovely girl like you. "' Yu smiled back.
From that moment, I knew Yu was going to change my dull and empty life. Knowing Yu has made me smile again. To tell you the truth, I wasn't be able to put a smile on my face ever since the day mum and dad left the world.
But thanks to Yu, I could smile like I used to all over again.
It took only a few days until Yu and I became good friends. We were like so comfortable with each other. So, it wasn't a surprise to see us got clicked in a simple way.
The one thing I admire about Yu is that he tends to always protect me. He was like my angel. He would never let anyone hurt me.
He was always there for me which sometimes made other people envious of me especially all the girls in my school.
There was this one incident that happened on this particular day which totally changed the relationship tied between us.
I had a fight with aunt Nina while we were on the way home from my night class and she ended up dropping me off halfway home.
Thus, I had to walk home alone at that night. I wouldn't want to bother Yu because I knew he had help me enough.
So, without feeling hesitated or scared, I brave myself up to walk and reach my home.
Plus, uncle Ed and aunt Nina's house wasn't that too far. While I was walking along the empty streets, I felt like somebody was behind me.
I turned around and saw a jerk who can also be called as my ex-boyfriend. He's been following me all the way long.
" Why are you following me, Taylor? " I said with a curiousity.
