BK Bites~! (chp.21)

BK Bites~! – Bloody Little Truth

"So what if the secret is out? I've been taught to attack and kill those who can't accept us! No one should know about our existence, no one! and that includes family and friends, what more strangers? Unless they are willing to be one of us or nothing will stop me from draining them to dead." ~ BK

Heavy taps on the floor, heavy breath panting, heavy run that made one feeling exhausted. He had no other choice but to run for his life as the truth was shoved right in front of his eyes without having the slightest urge to forget what he was compelled to. Flashes of images, a pair of sharp fangs was playing on his mind, shocked him for good as if a scary movie was reeling. To his horror, the fangs were adorned by the infamous rockstar he initially had to watch out for. Say a bodyguard job wasn't that easy when the fact that no one gave him the real definition of watching out.

"Watch out for the rockstar, he might bite you off!" ..shouldn't that be a clear warning to everyone who applies for the job? Of course, no one mentioned anything to him before he was handed with the task. It was only to guard the rockstar from getting mobbed, what else is there to do? In this case, it was more than being a guardian, the person that you should guard is the one who you should be guarding yourself from.

He could still feel the pain from Bill's previous bite, piercing into his skin, under his neck. Two poked holes, dried and wounded, he thanked God that he no longer bleeds. Although, he tried not be traumatized by the incident, he kept thinking of those hungry red eyes of Bill's and Tom's eyes of hypnotism, slowly it became a haunting to him. He thought he was losing his mind, he couldn't bear to stay in the same building as the twins currently in. He needed a quick escape but something slowed him down, a word was said on his lips, repeatedly without him realizing as his body and mind was drenched in fear. Simply, it could spread to others for merely a warning, with this word he could never believe in, a creature of the night that seemed to be a myth but real, the word spelled none other than, V-A-M-P-I-R-E .

A lot of others, the band crews were all busy with their work as a show was about to take place in about half an hour time, ignoring the only bodyguard on loose who was running away from his duty. "They must have been blind for all this time to have worked with a vampires disguising as rockstars. Or perhaps they were compelled like me but how come I can remember everything?" On his panic mode of escaping, he could not stop from thinking a reason. With his feet walking fast, he stumbled onto one of the band members who just came out from the waiting room. It startled him for a bit. "Could he be one of them too?" He couldn't help but to wonder.

The one with a pretty long hair and handsome face raised an eyebrow to him, feeling a little awkward to see the shock in his face. "err..are you okay?" Georg questioned him.

He didn't know how to act, the fear was still running wild under his skin, he was sweating like a pig to even come out with a simple answer. He stuttered instead.

"Dude, what happen? Where's Bill? Thought you were accompanying him for a smoke? It seemed like you've seen a ghost or something?" Georg chuckled and patted his back as he passed him to walk towards the vending machine for packet of snacks.

While Georg threw his short laugh, he kept his eyes on Georg's mouth, teeth to do a little observation. Feeling relieved, he immediately approached Georg in order to let him know what was getting to him at that moment. "Georg, do not trust the Kaulitz twins! They're monsters!"

"Oh what? Yes, I know they can be monsters, sometimes! A pain in the ass." Georg winked and made his way back to where he came from until he got stopped with heavy grip on his shoulder by the same bodyguard.

"Dude! You're scaring me here!"

"Listen! They are monsters, I tell you! Monsters!"

"Are you on crack? What did Bill give you?"

"...Bill .. Bill.. Bill.." The name resonated in his mind with fear. "Vampire."

"Sorry?" Strangely, Georg heard the word he just said but it confused him, made him wonder, why on Earth vampire could be related with Bill?

"Vampire, blood ..he drank my blood."

"Are you fucking kidding me? Seriously, you're on crack! Now let me go or I'll call security." Looking from top to toe, Georg noticed he was in fact someone who works under the security department, "..even though you are one of them."

He let go of Georg feeling rather disappointed and disbelief upon Georg's reaction. He wasn't on crack and why won't Georg believe him? Georg turned the knob and the other one seemed to be standing on the other side of the door. The timid one, Gustav started with his saying, "What took you so long? All I'm asking was a snack, did you go to the toilet again?"

"Hell no. And don't be mad, Bill's new bodyguard stopped me halfway with a crappy talk!" Harshly, Georg passed the snacks on his hand to Gustav, feeling annoyed over the bodyguard and also, his band mate.

"Who? Lukas?"

"Yeah, whatever his name is!" Georg shouted out aloud from where he was seated.

Lukas was still there, standing on his spot with still having a terrified look upon his face. Gustav caught him and made a hand gesture to invite him inside. "Come inside and you can tell me everything." Whispered the quiet Gustav to him. It was quite weird to receive such invitation from the drummer of the band, perhaps he knows? Hence, with an assurance from Gustav, he didn't hesitate to decline the offer.

"Wait Bill, we can't just go out there! There are fans on loose."

Both, Bill and Tom reached the nearest exit door they can find in the back building. Little did they knew, the missing bodyguard was held captive in the waiting room together with Georg and Gustav.

"Then what are we gonna do? We can't just let that bodyguard go out there and spread about us! Schisse!" This time Bill really thought he was screwed, there was no way that the bodyguard would shut his mouth. Their secret will be unveiled to the world and it was his fault yet again. A cigarette was taken out from the box in his pocket and he lighted it up so that he could take a smoke.

"Wow, you're actually taking a smoke right now?" Tom said sarcastically seeing Bill was trying to smoke his problem away.

"Fuck it! A vampire can get stressed too, okay!"

"Thought blood was your only cure for everything."

"Can we like concentrate on our problem here and leave how you called as my disgusting behavior alone?"

"Okay!" Tom raised his hands in a surrender mode and started making his brain a good use to think of a plan. "What would I do if I've just encountered a vampire for the first time in my life? I would be in shocked, scared and hysteria maybe? Hmm..where would I run?"

"This isn't helping!"

"At least my brain is doing a little thinking! Unlike yours, filled up with black smokes."

"Seriously Tom! You're making me pissed off. This is your fault, you know."

"Here we go again, the blaming game!"

Bill puffed out his cigarette for the last time before he put it off on the floor, a little step with his shoe. "Come let's check out with the others. Maybe they might see him running about, backstage."

"Good call. I got the feeling he's still here."

"If he isn't then screw us!"

"No. We'll think of something."

Heading back to the backstage of where they should be, the crews just waved at their sight. They seemed normal even after hearing out one nutcase blabbed out about this supernatural thing called, vampire. Perhaps, they were too busy to even acknowledge the bodyguard's presence, as none saw him anywhere. And then came, David.

"Hey guys, where were you? You should be in the waiting room by now." The band manager took a glance on his wrist watch and pushed the two of them to the waiting room direction. "And Bill, I think I saw your bodyguard just now in the waiting room. "

Bill and Tom just stared each other with a devious smile, feeling the victorious moment as their searching hits jackpot without putting a lot of effort on it!

"Shouldn't he be with you anywhere you go?"

"Oh well, that's the thing. I've been looking all over for him! He's not doing a very good job."

"Yeah David, but we should probably head to the waiting room as you wish."

"Yes, go ahead in there. The show is about to start in a couple of minutes from now. Time to do your ritual thingy with the band. I'll leave you four there."

"Why, thank you, David. You're the man!" Tom expressed his gratitude and let David do his part to shoo everyone in the room except for the band.

"But do leave Lukas there, I need to talk to him."

"Sure, boss!" David went inside the waiting room first and got all the other crews to leave for them. "It's all yours. Have a great show tonight, boys!" He then, left for a little errands to make just for the band sake.

The both of them got in and shut the door tight behind them, with clicking the knob for a lock. The room was dim, but serene. Couches were placed nicely for them to longue and a plasma TV was plastered on the wall for a source of entertainment. The room was rather spacious and equipped with less furniture as possible, cozy enough for them to chill out before the show. Georg was on the couch he was seated before, waving them for a greet but somehow, his face was showing a sort of a sudden fear. "What's up, guys?"

Bill looked around the room for a moment to catch a sight of his target, Lukas.

"err..looking for someone?" Georg was puzzled or was he acting to be puzzled? Tom knew something isn't quite right there.

"Yeah, Lukas." Bill bluntly said his name. "Where's Lukas?"

"Why are you so eager to know where is him? You should start practicing your vocals since we're gonna have a concert, later" Said the sudden curious, Georg.

"Why are you even bother to ask me with these questions, Georg?" Just like Tom, Bill started to sense that Georg was pulling an act too. As Bill got close to Georg, he stood up from his seat to back away from Bill.

"What's going on, here?" Bill carved a sinister smile along with his question.

 "err..nothing."

"You're a terrible liar, Georg." This time, Tom chuckled.

"Now, where's Lukas?"

"I'm right there." An opening was attached to the lounge area, leading them to another part of the room. A small room with only a ping pong table laid for them to play and that is where a big tall man dressed smartly in black and whose name is Lukas emerged from.

"Well hey Lukas, good to see you again. Remember me? and my brother? I may have compelled you but you do remember us and what he did to you, right?" Tom greeted him with a calm tone in his voice. "And I can see that you told Georg about us."

"Hell yeah, he did! I thought he was on crack! Clearly, not."

"How can you be so sure, Georg? You haven't seen us in action before!"

As Tom was kindly distracted by his best friend in the band, without a moment to waste, Bill decided to move quietly for an attack. He knew Tom wouldn't let him to do such thing without thinking rationally but he didn't want to let Lukas escape for the second round and what if, Georg knew about them? At least he can be compelled. But Lukas, he can't be compelled and Bill might just have to kill him.

"I..I..I do.. now." Georg was pointing out to Bill who already had his fangs on Lukas for a kill.
