I kept staring at my love, Strify or should I say, Andreas who was just lying on the bed and not making any moves. That made me feel even more miserable.
“I’m sorry, Strify. I’m sorry.” I said softly to him and drown myself into tears.
“You’re forgiven.” Strify replied.
I stared back at Strify. “Did you just say something?” I asked that stupid question to the gorgeous coma boy and of course, he didn’t respond. “I swear, I heard your voice just now, Strify.” I said assuring to myself that my mind wasn’t playing tricks on me.
“That’s true.” A voice of Strify was heard from my back. I turned around and to find that ghostly figured Strify was actually standing behind me all the while.
“Strify!” I was shocked and immediately stood from the chair I was sitting on. “Is that really you? The Strify whom I met at the park, this morning?”
“Who else, dear?”
“What are you doing here?”
“I don’t wanna stay at the park until midnight, I’m too scared to be alone. So, I decided to show up here, to see my body instead. Plus, you’re taking a long time to crack the truth, I couldn’t wait that much longer.”
“So, this is you, the real you? Not that one?” I pointed to the lying Strify.
“Yeah, I mean that’s just my body. The real Strify is me!” He grinned.
“You know, I can’t believe I’m actually facing a ghost right now. I should be screaming but for the sake of you, I brave myself up.”
“Hunny, don’t think of me as a ghost! Cause I’m not a ghost! I’m just a flying soul.”
“Isn’t that the same thing?”
“No. A ghost is what you’re gonna see if I’m dead. Well, a soul on the other hand, is the true me whom escape from my own body.”
“Well, whether you’re a soul or a ghost or whatsoever. You’re scaring me like hell.”
“Liena, don’t be scared. It’s just me, Strify, your lover. I thought you’d be happy to be the only one who can see me.”
“I am but people would think I’m crazy, talking to no one but a ghost!”
“You are crazy, dear. You’ve admitted that yourself.”
“Yeah, yeah. Stop haunting me, will you?”
“I can’t, I’m stuck and kinda attached to you. I simply couldn’t keep myself away from you.”
“You can’t even disappear from my sight?”
“I could but then, it means I’m dead. My body is dead. Do you want that to happen?”
Strify’s words made me do some thinking. He was right, if I couldn’t see his soul anymore, it means I’m not gonna see him forever.
“No..” I dropped a tear.
“There, there, Liena. I’m still right here with you, right? So don’t worry.”
“I’m sorry for everything, Strify.”
“You know, I would forgive you no matter how sorry you are. So, you don’t need to say that again.”
“What should I do to get you back to your body?”
“Seriously, I don’t have any clue how. If I get lucky, I will somehow be awake again but if it turns out the other way around, you just have to accept my death. Please don’t do anything that is way beyond your mind!”
I cried even more. “Okay.”
“You promise?”
“I promise but I don’t want you to go. I love you.”
“I know, babe. Just stay by my side. That way you can make me feel like I’m alive even though I’m like half dead. Trust me, I feel so alive to be with you right now.”

Zimmer 21 was the one room that I wanted to stay in for like every single day during that summer season in Berlin ever since I knew Strify was just gonna lie there and not gonna do anything unless that twinkling blue eyes of his would be wide open again. That was the main reason I stayed everyday by Strify’s side. Meanwhile, his soul was still flying around and following me everywhere. It was not surprising of course. After a while, I wasn’t that afraid of the ghostly figured Strify anymore because I knew it was Strify. So why would I be afraid of the one whom I have a heart on? I mean he was right after all. If I couldn’t see that flying Strify anymore, it would give me a meaning that I would never want it to happen.
to be continued...
